Park+ Verdict
The Toyota Fortuner has been one of the bestselling 4x4 SUVs in India and it's been quite popular among off-road enthusiasts. The SUV has been very well accepted for its bold and butch looks and the sheer power the 2.8-litre diesel powertrain offers. On the inside, the Fortuner does feel a bit raw given the use of hard plastic. It feels like it's built to last but lacks the sophistication you expect in a vehicle at this price point. In terms of features, the SUV in its current generation has been updated with ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and a premium JBL sound system, among others, but it misses out on some basic connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In terms of handling, it does understeer a bit around corners and body rolls are inevitable, while it allows you to carry decent speed on rough roads.
